Why a Catholic Network?
Why do we need an online community? Because we live in a diverse and increasingly confusing world. Every day, it seems, we find ourselves in contact with people whose values and ideals seem very different from our own.
This diversity has many positive aspects. It encourages us to be more open and adaptable to changing circumstances. It reminds us that God has created many different types of people and that it's our duty, as Christ taught, to love and care for them all.
Even so, as we go through the noise and chatter of modern life, we may find ourselves wishing for something more out of life. Often when talking to others, we may find that we can only go a certain distance. We can share conversations about things like the weather, sports, and entertainment, but we may want to go beyond the surface.
